Monochrome Stamping with Fragrant Flowers

Here’s an easy monochrome stamping card using the Fragrant Flowers stamp set currently available in the January – April Mini Catalogue Last Chance Sale. When you need a card in a hurry, monochrome stamping can be a really easy option to try out. All you need is matching card stock and ink. An outline detailed stamp set looks better than solid images.

I’ve done two cards to share with you using the Fragrant Flowers stamp set. One in landscape orientation and one in portrait orientation. Are you aware of these terms? The terms relate to the lie of the card and are based on how paintings are described as landscape or portrait.

If you are just beginning your stamping and card making journey, creating monochrome cards is a perfect place to start because you need minimal supplies. Matching card and matching colour ink.

The colour used here is Orchid Oasis card and ink. When stamping a card front like this, always make sure to stamp some images off the edge of the card piece. This makes all the images appear to be more natural.

The greeting is from the coordinating Fragrant Flowers die set. The little flower buds are die cuts from the same die set. The stamp set and die set are both currently on sale in the Last Chance Sale at a 60% discount on the catalogue price. That’s right a 60% discount!

The Last Chance Sale ends May 1, so don’t wait too long to place an order or you will miss out! See all the products on sale at the moment by clicking here.
