Every two months Stampin’Up! sends out to their demonstrators a magazine full of tips and ideas. Just one of the perks of being part of Stampin’Up whether it be hobbyist or business demonstrator. I always put it aside with plans to make at least one card idea from it and sometimes I do get around to it and other times I don’t. This time around I did!
I added my own touch to the card by adding the gold sequin trim to give it a bit of bling. I do like the “An Open Heart” stamp set but had had a bit of a mental block about how to use the bird on a card so when I saw this card in Impressions it was a light bulb moment and straight away out came the stamp set and my card was done! If only all card making was that quick and easy!
I used Naturals White as the folded card however this has now retired and been replaced by Whisper White A4 Thick Cardstock 140490 $12.25 per pack of 24. At long last a heavier weight of Whisper White for cards.
