Pinterest came to the rescue again and gave me some inspiration when I did a search for cards made using You’re Sublime. This card by Allison Okamitsu was my favourite so I switched around the background and DSPstamp and CASE’d my version of Allison’s card.
For the background I used the photopolymer stamp set “Chalk Lines” 135005. Because it is a clear stamp set it is so easy to line up the lines and get a great image happening. No need for a stamp positioner! I inked the stamp with Pacific Point ink and stamped the first image then restamped without reinking to get the lighter image. My folded card base is thick Whisper White cardstock.
The crab was stamped in Versafine ink then coloured in with Real Red marker and then a second image was stamped on Real Red card and the body cut out and adhered to the original image with Dimensionals. Always make sure to add a rim of colour to any areas underneath as there is nothing worse than seeing a bit of white card showing out underneath the raised image section.
Some burlap ribbon and a piece of torn Go Wild DSP paperstack and my swap was done!
Cheers!
