What is CASEing? To CASE a card is to Copy and Show Everyone. We all CASE from time to time. From a pretty card you see on Pinterest or where ever you go to get ideas, to friends creations you see while crafting together or anywhere for that matter! CASEing someones card or project is actually a compliment to the creator! It shows you have the same creative tastes as them and you admire what they have created. I don’t know about you but if someone asks if they can CASE one of my cards it makes me very happy inside! What a huge compliment! And of course I say yes go for it!!!!
So my card to share with you is a CASE using the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Papers that I saw on Bloglovin. Annette F was the listed creator. Thankyou Annette for your inspiration. I love your card design! I loved the way the papers have been looked at and used to their best advantage, yet creating a lovely simple design. The focus is all on the tree images. I stepped my version up by adding a layering scallop die from Layering Circles dies under the paper circle.
The Beauty of the Earth papers are retiring on May 2 so if you like them it would be a good idea to get online and order them. Plus they are reduced in price in the Last Chance Sale. The embellishments are Gilded Gems and these too are on sale until May 2.
Bloglovin
Now I mentioned I saw this card on Bloglovin. Have you heard of it? It is a webpage where you can list all your favourite blogs and then get daily updates in one email that shows an excerpt plus picture of what your favourite blogger has posted in the previous 24 hours. Want to investigate more? Click here to see the Bloglovin page and set up following your favourite blogs ( including me too I hope!!!!).
If you would like to see more of these papers have a look at my recent blog post by clicking here. I am sharing an idea on how to use a great layout to show off your pretty papers and use them up!
So now you know what is CASEing! Go on and CASE away!
Happy Crafting!
