My daughter had her Hen’s party on the weekend. She chose this over a Bridal Shower orKitchen Tea. We had a wonderful time celebrating her upcoming wedding with a scrumptious high tea, followed by drinks and nibbles served by all things a topless male waiter!!! Lots of fun and laughter as a stress reliever as we lead up to the big day.
I made her card in a rush on the morning of the party as I must confess despite having a list on my desk of cards to be made, I had forgotten about the need for this particular one! Anyway I am so pleased with how the card turned out. Using the pretty stamp set Wonderful Moments by Stampin’Up! I stamped it using black Versamark ink onto Very Vanilla card that had been die cut using Stitched Rectangle dies. A touch of Wink of Stella was added to the dress to create some shimmer. Pity it never shows up well in photos.
The papers are from the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series papers. I love these papers and they were perfect for my card as I crafted in a hurry! the base card and mats are Rococo Rose and Merry Merlot.

My daughter was thrilled with her card and her gifts. I gave her a Vera Wang silver plated large photo frame for her wedding day photo along with a Vera Wang crystal vase for her bridal bouquet at her reception. Only less than four weeks to go until the big day!
