I love the pop of Poppy Parade against the Evening Evergreen on this Stampin’ Up! Vintage Christmas card. It makes for a bright and cheerful card I think. The Vintage Christmas stamp set was the top of my wish list when I first saw the current mini catalogue. Being able to have a further use for my Vintage Bottle punch was a good reason to want this stamp set.
The background paper is from the Painted Christmas paper pack. These lovely papers were in last years Holiday catalogue and I am pleased they have reappeared in this years catalogue because they are a pretty set of Christmas themed papers. Check out this project from last year using these papers. Keeping the Evening Evergreen theme going I added matching Evening Evergreen Window Pane Check ribbon.
The sentiment has been die cut using the Sending die set. Any die set that has a nice long narrow die for greetings will always make it into my stash! The finishing touch are the In Color Opal Rounds in Evening Evergreen.
It’s so easy to skip over the single stamp sets in the catalogues as we check out the Suites and Bundles. Please take the time to have a good look at the Stampin’ Up! Vintage Christmas stamp set. It has been very cleverly created to allow you to stamp each element to create the floral bouquet.
