My Stampin’ Up! Snow Wonder Christmas card should really get you thinking that now might be a good time to get a start on your Christmas cards for 2021. Time is moving on! We are nearly at the end of October so that really only gives you November to comfortably create your cards with out stressing out about it all big time!!!!
If this stamp set looks familiar to you it was in last years Holiday catalogue and it was stated then that the set and matching Snow Time dies would carry over to the next Holiday Mini catalogue. That was a big relief for me as I had purchased the stamps and dies and not got around to using them! I’m glad the dies carried over as there are a couple of good label dies in the set. It always pays to have a good range of dies that can be used for die cutting out greetings. I’ve used one of the mentioned dies from the set in my card here.
I added a small Crumb Cake banner behind the die cut greeting as I felt the card needed a bit more balance and adding in that banner did just the trick. The snowman image was stamped in Crumb Cake and lightly coloured with Water Colour Pencils to add just a hint of colour. The greeting was stamped in Pool Party. A base card of Thick Basic White gives a good solid base for your card creations.
Can you see the embossed snowflakes on the background Pool Party mat? There are a set of dies in the Snow Time dies that emboss those delicate snowflake images onto your card. Rather nifty!!!
So it really is time to start making your Christmas cards. Get planning, ordering and start creating!
Happy Stamping!
