The Stampin’ Up! Easter Bunny set is not just for creating Easter cards. Here I will show you ideas on creating a baby card and birthday card using the Stampin’ Up! Easter Bunny stamp set. Yes the cute bunny images make very sweet Easter cards as you can see in the photo above. However if you want to get maximum value from your purchases you always need to assess if you can get as much use as possible from a stamp set before purchasing.
The bunny image stamps are fun to colour. I used Stampin’ Blends alcohol marker pens in Crumb Cake and Smoky Slate for my cards here. My Easter card is quick and easy to put together once you have done your colouring and fussy cutting of the bunny. Layering Circles dies were used to highlight the bunny and the backing paper for each of the cards is from the 2021-2023 6×6 In Color papers.
To create a baby welcome card find a suitable set of sentiments and create your card.
I chose to use the Charming Sentiments stamps which also have a matching set of dies, Sentiment Silhouettes, to die cut the sentiments. Save 10% by ordering as a bundle rather than individually.
Now here is a birthday card suggestion. Similar layout just change the sentiment.
The sentiment is from Charming Sentiments as used for the baby card. This time I layered it using the Layering Circles dies as used for the Easter card. So without using a multitude of products I’ve created three different cards using two stamp sets, two die sets and one pack of papers. If you have the 2021 – 2023 IN color A4 cardstock pack, then one pack of cardstock.
The embellishments are all from the same pack too!
So be wise when making your stamp set selections and see past the main sentiment for ordering a set and make sure you are getting versatility with your hard earned dollars.
