How cute are these little birds from an upcoming stamp set to be released for sale on November 4? I always wonder how am I going to get an image to look good with my not so good colouring abilities. If that is you, then I have an easy solution for you as you yourself think “How to colour the bird images in the Quite Curvy stamp set?”
Firstly I stamped the birds, they are so cute, in Early Espresso ink onto Crumbcake card.
Then using my Stampin’Up! White craft ink pad and refill I added some ink to the lid of the inkpad. Using a Blender pen I picked up the white ink and coloured my little birds. Easy to do all you have to do is stay within the inked image lines and spread the ink.
I made this card for a presentation I did last weekend to share ideas to other Stampin’Up! Demonstrators on how to use the new upcoming Quite Curvy Variety Bundle of stamps, dies and papers. This card is simple in appearance and creation however I think that is what makes it a lovely card.
The card is a slimline card. The front measures 8.5 x 3.5 inches. That means for a base card you need 8.5 x 7 inches. The base card here is Cherry Cobbler. This colour works so well with Crumbcake card.
The sentiment also comes from the Quite Curvy stamp set. The code for this set is 154430 and you can order it from November 4. It comes as a bundle with the matching dies, and yes there is a die for the little birds!
I have made a card using the dies which I will share with you in my next post.
