One Layout Two Ways

Spread the love

Here are a couple of cards I made after I loved the result I had with my son’s 20th birthday card which  I showed you in my last post.  I thought then that I would like to play with the layout more and try some other ideas I had. Especially when Stampin’Up! has so many gorgeous papers to play with!

So here they are!

I am so impressed with the papers in the Print Poetry Paper Stack.  It is so much easier to cut into a small piece of paper, the papers in the stack are just the right size for a card front, than cutting into  a 12 x 12 sheet when you only need a small paper piece!!!

The stamp is from “Pursuit of Happiness”. There are some lovely sayings in this stamp set. You can see it on page 140 of the annual catalogue.

The little hearts are from the Owl Builder punch. They are just the right size for adding a nice little accent as a finishing touch.

The Window Frames framelit dies were used to cut the matts.

And here is my other creation.

This was going to be a Valentine’s card but we are past that special day so it became an anniversary card, nothing like being ready well in advance.

More lovely papers used here, this time it is the More Amore Specialty Series Papers. The Big Shot gets another go with the Hearts Collections framelits to create the matts.

It is always good to have an anniversary stamp, so to have one in the Memorable Moments stamp set is a terrific bonus. Perfect for creating special event anniversary cards. See the stamp set on page 139 of the Annual catalogue.

Thanks for coming by my blog!
