Here is my card creation for my mother-in-law for Mother’s Day which is in a couple of days time here in Australia. The second Sunday in May is when we celebrate Mother’s Day in Australia. For my card I have combined products from the 2020 Mini Catalogue, both of which are carrying over into the upcoming 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue.
The die cut is the Detailed Hearts die. I die cut it after adhering the cardstock to an adhesive sheet. Doing this makes attachment to your mat sooooo much easier rather than fiddling with glue and getting a messy result as glue inevitably leaks out from under your diecut when they are this fine.
The stamp set is Timeless Tulip. Did you know it has a matching punch? The Tulip builder punch. I have stamped my images onto Poppy Parade and Old Olive card using the matching coloured inks.
The card base is Petal Pink and the mat is copper foil for the bling aspect! For the sentiment, which is part of the Tulip stamp set I die cut it using the Stitched Nested Labels dies. The sentiment inside the card came from another carry over stamp set, Peaceful Moments. This set has a lovely font and sentiments, so I am very happy it will be continuing to be available for purchase for another year.
