Matchbook Cards

Spread the love
This is one of three cards I am also doing in workshops during Sale-a-bration. It is a matchbook card. We learnt these at Regionals in November last year and I have been wanting to come up with some new versions since then.
For this card I used Bashful blue textured cardstock as the base and the flowers are done in Barely Banana and Groovy Guava with Green Galore stems. The flowers are stamped in Barely Banana using the Sale-a-bration set Polka Dot Punches with the flowers then punched out with the co-ordinating 5 Petal Punch. The punches work beautifully with this set and have been a big hit at my workshops.
The centres are punches out using the 1/2″ circle punch after being stamped in Groovy Guavea ink. The finishing touch is the Pumpin Pie eyelet set in place using the Cropa dile. I love that gadget – it makes eyelet setting an absolute breeze!
Finally the sentiment is from Family Phrases and is stamped in Staz -On black ink on groovy Guava card scrap.
I’ll try and upload the othe 2 cards I’m doing in this style for customers to choose from at Workshops.
