I’ve been busy making cards for my poster displays for the upcoming Scrapbook Papercraft Expo this weekend at the Melbourne Exhibition Buildings in Carlton. I will post a few of them here over the next few posts.
My favourite technique is Masked Sponging so of course I had to add a few new cards using this technique. I love it for being colourful and making a lovely clean and simple style of card.
The card below uses the stamp set “By the Tide” from the Seasonal catalogue. The script stamp has a lovely poem about seashells.
For the next card I finally christened my “Pleasant Poppies” stamp. I loved this stamp as soon as I saw it in the annual catalogue and I bought it with my first order from the catalogue. It has sat on my desk waiting patiently since September to be used…………well I realised that the masked sponging technique would be a terrific way to show off this lovely stamp. What do you think?
I’ll be demonstrating this technique on Saturday at the Scrapbook Papercraft Expo. For more information visit here . If you are there on Saturday do come by and say hello.
