The 2009 Spring Mini Catalogue finishes today – so here is one last look at a project I did in Technique class this week. I stamped this candle using Tree Trimmings from the mini catalogue. This was a really popular set from the mini catalogue.
I love this technique since Simone Bartrum my very talented downline demonstrated this technique at the recent Stampin’Up! Melbourne Regionals. I have a link at the side to her website – do visit, you will be impressed!
Anyway this was so easy to do! I stamped the hanger in Choc Chip and the bauble in Ruby Red onto white tissue paper. Then held it in place with baking paper while I gently heated the image on the candle with my heat tool. Once you see the wax melt and your image “change”, stop heating, allow to cool slightly and then remove the wax paper. It really is one of those WOW moments!!!
