Faux Tearing technique is how I created this card using the Wildlife Wonder stamp set. This technique creates an illusion that there is another card layer to the card front.
T do this technique you will need large Post-It notes, inks, blending brushes and stamp set of choice. Tear along the Post-It note lengthways on two sheets. Make the tear jagged as this gives more interest. Discard the non sticky section.
Place the Post_It notes in position on your card front leaving the desired blank area as large as you wish for your stamped images. Using a blending brush add colour to the exposed card area. Add one colour or multiple colours, the choice is yours. Keep adding colour until you are happy with colour depth.
Leaving Post-It notes in place, stamp your chosen images over the inked area. When stamping is done remove the Post-It notes and you have your faux tearing image complete. A fun technique to try out!
Finish your card with a greeting and embellishments. For a stamp set featuring a bear, a wolf and an owl there are other very useful images and greetings in the Wildlife Wonder stamp set.
If you are interested the colour inks I used here are Bumblebee, Calypso Coral and Granny Apple Green.

Do try out this fun technique. Try it with one colour or try it with several colours.
One colour will look like this. I created this card using the Timeless Tiles stamp.
