Ever wondered how to get a perfect line up of your stamped images without relying on eye balling it?
Your answer is invest in a Stamparatus. The Stampin’ Up! Stamparatus has two removeable hinge plates that allow you to move the plate horizontally or vertically. For my card above I wanted the penguins from the Count On Me stamp set to line up along the bottom of my card front.
I placed my Shimmery White card mat in the Stamparatus and lined it up using the grid to find the middle of the card when in landscape orientation. Once I knew this I positioned my stamp over that point on the card. To allow you to move the plate sideways in both directions position the clear plate so the stamp will be stuck to the clear plate on the right hand edge. You can see this in the photo below.
Ink up your stamp and stamp your first image. Lift the plate and move the plate along one hinge space to the right. Ink and stamp and repeat the same move to the right. You now have the right hand side of your card stamped. To do the left hand side move the plate back to the original middle image. Now move the plate one hing space to the left, ink the image and stamp. Repeat the same move to the left one more space, ink and stamp.
You now have your five images perfectly aligned and positioned on your card front. All that’s left is to colour and add your greeting.
The ability to move the plate along in either direction plus work horizontally or vertically makes the Stampin’ Up! Stamparatus a vital product ot have in your tool kit. Plus this feature is just one of the great techniques you can do with the Stamparatus.
So there you are! You now know how to create a perfect lineup for your stamped images.
Happy Stamping!
