Is this not a gorgeous card?????? This card is done using new stamps and double sided papers from the new Summer Mini catalogue which starts tomorrow – Dec 1st. All the lovely goodies in it will be available until March 31st.
I love the Kaleidoscope papers that you can see here and I adore the Butterfly Prints stamp set! You can do so many lovely things with these butterflies! And to make the set even more versatile there is a matching Butterfly punch!!!! So here I have stamped the butterfly image and cut it out then punched a butterfly image from Pixie Pink card to place behind the cut out image. The cutout was glued only at the middle so as the wings can be bent up to give a 3D look to the card. The body is a thin strip of Summer Sun card wrapped around the butterfly and glued underneath. The saying included in the set is also very sweet.
Coloured card used here were Pixie Pink, Summer Sun, Tempting Turquoise and Whisper White. The ink is Pixie Pink. The extra stamping on the pink band is done with Boho Backgrounds from the main catalogue.
I loved this design and the paper so much I made a number of them using a variety of the papers as backgrounds. I’m sure you will love this set and papers as much as I do!
